This elegant handmade piece uses the traditional letter press technique. This work is a unique designed and is made in Amsterdam by applying traditional printing techniques. Made of high quality thick card, they design is then imprinted using a vintage Heidelberg press from 1965.
Each color is printed in its own layer using a different steel mold, making the technique precision work. This results in a ‘deboss’, an impression left on the paper denting inwards, which can be seen and felt. This gives this work a unique and elegant appearance.
