About the company: V@Amsterdam is a Social Enterprise, an Amsterdam based design atelier,
founded in 2014 in Amsterdam. Our main goal is to create work for a group of people
disadvantaged on the employment market. Our products are handcrafted by less fortunate
through the EU. At the moment we have work for 30FTE in our production process and this year
we are increasing to 40FTE. Our core values are: Sustainable, Design, Quality and
Craftsmanship.
Our customers are people with a passion for interior, expacts, high-end visitors, Our concept is
successful in Amsterdam and our products are sold in 14 retails shops and through different
online channels. This year we go international with new designs for different cities under the
name: “Citypillows”. We are looking for students to research how to set up the International
Business Plan / Marketing Plan for cities as London, Paris, Dubai, Tokio or New York.
Work description: Do a market research on how to reach our clients in the different cities (online
& offline channels, ways to approach the clients).
Study mentor: Veronika Utasi, owner and founder of V@AMSTERDAM. Graduated in Strategic
Management (MSc) and has international work experience in Management Consultancy, Project
management, Process Management, Human Resource Management.
